Purposes of processing, legal basis for processing

Your personal data are processed for the following purposes:
- to process and fulfil your queries and orders:

• submitted directly in Polcar PPH or via local distributors,
• submitted through any of the available communication channels,
• as well as exercising any legal claims or redress related to them

pursuant to Art. 6 (1b) GDPR;
- direct marketing connected with our business on the basis of Art. 6 (1a) GDPR;
- satisfaction surveys on cooperation with the Controller and its local distributors on the basis of Art. 6 (1f) GDPR.

Data source

Providing personal data is voluntary yet necessary to process and fulfil your queries and orders. You may withdraw your consent to any of the purposes at any time.
We may gather personal data from public sources such as KRS or CEIDG registers as well as from sources with limited access, e.g. KRD or BIG registers. In such cases we verify the lawfulness of the data processing.

Scope of data processing

We process only the data related to our business purposes, such as name, surname, contact details (e.g. address, phone number, e-mail, position). In justified cases we may also retain such data as ID number if required by additional regulations concerning e.g. contract documentation.

Data recipients

We may entrust our local distributor with your data based on a data processing agreement in order to process and fulfil your queries and orders.
Your personal data may be also disclosed to our cooperating entities in order to perform and exercise contractual rights, including but not limited to entities providing accounting, debt collection, IT, marketing and courier services, as well as administration and legal services.
We do not transfer your personal data outside the EU unless you specifically request it in relation to your order.

Data storage period

Your personal data are processed until you withdraw your consent to the processing and for the period necessary to exercise or defence of legal claims or redress including guarantee and warranty operations.

Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making based on profiling.

You are entitled to the following rights in relation to data processing:

• the right to withdraw your consent to personal data processing;
• the right to object to the data processing for marketing purposes;
• the right of access to your personal data;
• the right to rectification of your personal data;
• the right of erasure of your personal data;
• the right to restrict the processing of your personal data;
• the right to data portability.

Right to lodge a complaint

You are entitled to the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority for personal data protection, i.e. to the President of the Office of the Protection of Personal Data.
